I brought my cat in because his medication had run out, and the receptionist told me that he needed to come in for a blood test before they could provide more medication. I brought him in today, but I was very disappointed with the lack of communication throughout the appointment. The vet did not properly explain what the blood test was checking for, and then said she was also going to take a urine sample “just in case.” At no point was I told that this would result in an additional charge, nor was it clearly explained what the urine sample was actually being tested for. All I wanted was to get my cat’s medication renewed. I later asked the vet whether I would need to bring him in for testing every time his medication ran out, and she said no. This made the situation even more frustrating, especially as he had already had a blood test in June. I was then shocked to be presented with a bill of £312.51 at reception. My main issue is not simply the cost, but the complete lack of transparency beforehand. Customers should be clearly told what tests are being carried out, why they are necessary, and how much they are going to cost before agreeing to them. I left feeling extremely upset and as though unnecessary tests had been added without properly discussing them with me first. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice.

The team at the Hounslow branch of this practice are truly amazing. The love and kindness they show to their pet patients and owners is so amazing, and every time I have to leave my pet with them it comforts me to know that they are getting first class treatment. Thank you

After two visits here with my (formerly) stray cat, I can say that the clinic and the team are truly excellent. They have a professional approach to every health issue and very friendly customer service. I definitely recommend the Young Veterinary Partnership Hounslow!

I have been coming to this vet practice since 2018 and i will never change them!! They are more like family than anything, the receptionists are all so lovely and sweet, the vets know what they are talking about and the vet students are so so smart.. You can absolutely trust these people with your animals life, they cared for my Souldog Puggy all her's and gave her the best possible care ever!! All my other animals come here too (i have 6 cats and 3 other dogs) and they are in the bestest of health because of these hard working people. If you are looking for a wonderful, family type, loving vet practice for your animals you have found one here for life, i promise you!!
